What is it?
Non Travel Advances are payments to an individual for an event that has not yet taken place but for which the individual needs cash in hand prior to the event.
Why is it important?
Researchers may receive cash advances for out of pocket costs such as fees for participants in a research study. An accounting for the advances must be supported with proper documentation and submitted within 10 business days.
