What is it?

A direct deposit is an electronic function allowing money to be deposited to a person’s bank account directly from the University’s bank account.  Current employees of the University automatically receive payments via direct deposit.  Such payments typically include salary and reimbursements.

Why is it important?

By making payments to individuals by direct deposit, funds are transferred quickly and securely, while also reducing operating costs for the University.

Employees are automatically set up for direct deposit upon being on-boarded by Human Resources.
