What is it?
The fiscal budget represents the base budget which has been adjusted for events in the current fiscal year.
Why is it important?
The fiscal budget allows you to isolate budget fluctuations related to the current fiscal year. A department may be awarded one time funding for a particular purpose which will appear in the fiscal budget but is not part of the on-going base budget.
