Please see below for information about general volunteer requirements from 2024.
All volunteers, regardless of role will play an integral part in the delivery of the 2024 Fall Orientation programming and will receive training to support them in their roles. Volunteers can expect to assist with hosting events and connecting with new students to welcome them to the Carleton community. Students like you are extremely important to the success of the Fall Orientation program and welcoming new students to the Carleton community.
Important Dates and Deadlines
Fall Training
In person training will take place on Thursday, August 29th, 2024.
Please note, training is mandatory for all levels of volunteers and failure to complete this training will mean an inability to participate in Fall Orientation.
Training courses and content will be put together by:
- The Student Experience Office
- Equity and Inclusive Communities
- Health and Counselling
- Risk Management
- Residence
- Paul Menton Centre
- CUSERT
- Campus Safety
Fall Orientation Week:
- Sunday, September 1st to Friday, September 6th, 2024* (EngFrosh is September 1 – 8)
