Fall Orientation Volunteers – 2026

Thank you to the hundreds of volunteers who help us deliver the “Best 2% of the Year” each year.

Applications to volunteer for 2026 Fall Orientation will open on January 26, 2026. Volunteers who are interested in a Team Leader or Head Raven position will need to participate in our interview process (March 9, 2026) and be selected for the role.

Please see below for information about general volunteer requirements.

All volunteers, regardless of role, play an integral part in the delivery of the Fall Orientation programming and receive training to support them in their roles. Volunteers can expect to assist with hosting events and connecting with new students to welcome them to the Carleton community. Students like you are extremely important to the success of the Fall Orientation program and welcoming new students to the Carleton community.

Important Dates and Deadlines (2026)

Application Dates / Deadlines

Team Leader and Head Ravens must apply by March 7, 2026 with interviews taking place on Monday, March 9, 2026 in the evening.

Facilitator and Ravens must apply by March 24, 2026.

The Fall Orientation Team will be hosting a launch event on March 25, 2026 for all registered volunteers.

Fall Training

In person training will take place on September 3, 2026.

Please note, training is mandatory for all levels of volunteers and failure to complete this training will mean an inability to participate in Fall Orientation.

Residence Move-In Days

• September 4- 6, 2026. Volunteers will be working in teams to help new students move-in to Residence.

Fall Orientation Week for 2026:

• Sunday, September 6 to Friday, September 11, 2026* (EngFrosh continues until September 13)
