Fall Orientation Volunteers – 2025

Applications to volunteer for Central, SciFrosh, and Sprosh Orientation are now closed, thank you to the hundreds of volunteers who have committed to helping us deliver the “Best 2% of the Year” this fall.

All volunteers, regardless of role, play an integral part in the delivery of the Fall Orientation programming and receive training to support them in their roles. Volunteers can expect to assist with hosting events and connecting with new students to welcome them to the Carleton community. Students like you are extremely important to the success of the Fall Orientation program and welcoming new students to the Carleton community.
Important Dates and Deadlines (2025)
Fall Training
In person training will take place on August 28 and 29, 2025.
Please note, training is mandatory for all levels of volunteers and failure to complete this training will mean an inability to participate in Fall Orientation.
Training courses and content were be put together by:
- The Student Experience Office
- Equity and Inclusive Communities
- Health and Counselling
- Risk Management
- Residence
- Paul Menton Centre
- CUSERT
- Campus Safety
Residence Move-In Days
- August 29 – 31, 2025. Volunteers will be working in teams to help new students move-in to Residence.
Fall Orientation Week for 2025:
- Sunday, August 31 to Friday, September 5, 2025* (EngFrosh continues until September 7)
