Description:

Graduate students and postdocs don’t always recognize the many skills they already possess. In this workshop you will learn how to mine your experience for hard and soft skills that are of value to non-academic employers.

Learning outcomes:

  • Understand the benefits of articulating transferable skills
  • Describe techniques used to identify skills and articulate them (including skill translation and skill mining)
