Workshop Description

Using plain language in communications is necessary in many occupations, especially in those that involve disseminating information to the public. When writing in plain style, writers are expected to produce text whose (1) wording, (2) structure, and (3) design are clear and accessible to all readers. This workshop introduces participants to these three aspects, with a specific focus on principles writers use to ensure their text is in line with the requirements of plain style.
