Dr. Alexandra Arraiz Matute is an Assistant Professor at the Institute of Interdisciplinary Studies here at Carleton University and teaches many courses in Childhood and Youth Studies. During this interview Dr. Alexandra reveals what she focused on in her research, the courses she teaches and what students can expect to learn, advice for students, and what she is excited about this coming academic year. Her passion for education is evident as she explains just how crucial it is to think critically about all aspects and areas of education and the many inequalities that must be addressed.
