IIS faculty member Dr. Nguyen has recently had one of her research articles published in the journal Global Studies of Childhood, titled ‘Engaging girls with disabilities through cellphilming: Reflections on participatory visual research as a means of countering violence in the Global South’. Dr. Nguyen wrote this article along with Dr. Marnina Gonick from Mount St Vincent University and Tuyen Bui from University of Illlinois at Urbana-Champaign and the link to the article is open access.
