Title: Two-Spirit/Indigiqueer Worldviews and Relations with the Land

About the field course

This course is offered in partnership with the Centre for Indigenous Support and Community Engagement and includes a one-week commitment to serve as a helper at a Two-Spirit Ceremony in Manitoba. Students will apply to participate in the course and learn about Two-Spirit self-actualization, historic and contemporary roles and responsibilities, Indigiqueer theory, and the process of calling Two-Spirit teachings back from spirit and into the physical.

This course is limited to students who are Indigenous and Queer, Indigiqueer, Two-Spirit or part of the Indigenous LGBTQ+ community.
