On February 20th, learn how Indigenous perspectives on interconnectedness, nature, and land stewardship can inform teaching practices and classroom learning. Join Karen Mullen (Aanjegamiinkwe)—Métis citizen, educator, and Master of Arts student—for an MNO Scholar Talks presentation on February 20, 2026, at 6 p.m. EST. This presentation will explore Indigenous worldviews that understand animals, plants, and other elements as living beings, and examine how concepts of sentience are defined and understood.
