A Geordie Theatre Production

Not all heroes wear capes. Some wear pajamas.

Jordan River Anderson never set out to be a hero and yet he reshaped the way an entire country cares for Indigenous children. Join Jordan from Norway House Cree Nation and his trusty companion, Maskwa the bear, as they visit children whose lives were changed by the protective principle named after him. This poignant production, from Montreal’s award-winning Geordie Theatre, illuminates how one life can touch so many and that no child should ever be denied the support they need.

Playwright Yvette Nolan and director Jimmy Blais blend tenderness, imagination, and heart to create a moving portrait of a little hero’s profound legacy. Come see how Jordan’s life lights the way towards a more compassionate future for Indigenous children across the country.
