Join Tyler Twarowski – Métis citizen, Director with the Canadian Mental Health Association in Cochrane-Timiskaming, and PhD candidate at Queen’s University – for an MNO Scholar Talks presentation on October 27, 2026, at 6:00 p.m. EST.
The session will explore how Indigenous knowledge, lived experience, and local context can help shape more responsive approaches within healthcare and other public institutions. Participants will also have an opportunity to reflect on how Métis perspectives can be meaningfully included in conversations about mental health, reconciliation, and institutional change.
