Founder of 3XMAG Technologies / UAV Innovation
Pablo Arzate, a two-time Carleton grad and founder of 3XMAG Technologies, is building UAV-based tools to detect what’s happening underground—from critical minerals to buried infrastructure and unexploded ordnance. From Carleton’s Master of Design to Invest Ottawa’s prototyping lab, Pablo developed a passion for building and testing ideas. Now pursuing a Master of Entrepreneurship, he’s applying that experience to dual-use innovation and advanced manufacturing, including a recent pilot project at Mer Bleue Bog.

Anjali Patel, a Carleton Computer Science graduate now pursuing her MBA, is the Founder & CEO of Prototyp3.
While balancing her studies, she launched Prototyp3 to help students turn ideas into reality through hands-on prototyping support, mentorship, and accessible innovation tools. Her journey highlights how combining technical skills with an entrepreneurial mindset can create real impact—and empower others to build, test, and grow their ideas.
