Biography
Carleton University’s first Corporate Relations Officer, Robin has been working with industry to develop partnerships designed to advance business goals while supporting Carleton’s exceptional research enterprise, world-class programs and talented students for the past 6 years.
Prior to working in this centralized role to advance campus-wide priorities, Robin was the Corporate Relations Officer for the Faculty of Engineering and Design with dual reporting to Co-op and Career Services. In this role, Robin was uniquely positioned to assist employers navigate campus and expand their collaborative relationships beyond talent development. Robin assumed a leadership role in growing and facilitating industry partnerships and collaboration opportunities, job development for students, and generating and securing financial investment in the Faculty.
Prior to focusing on corporate relations, Robin began her career at Carleton in Co-op and Career Services matching Carleton’s top talent with the region’s best employers.
A proud Raven, Robin graduated from Carleton’s Bachelor of Public Administration program in 2002 and is a member of the Network of Academic Corporate Relations Officers.
