Abulogn Okello holds a Master of Education degree and Bachelor of Education (Arts) degree from York University, through the Borderless Higher Education for Refugees (BHER) Project. He also holds a Diploma in Education (Arts) with a specialization in English and literature from Moi University in Kenya. Currently, Abulogn is one of the program mentors for the current cohort of certificate students in the BHER project. He also teaches in elementary and secondary schools in the Dadaab refugee camps and is an active member of his community. Abulogn is currently the Executive Director for AS WE PROGRESS-Youth (AWPA), a community-based organization found in Kakuma-Kalobeyei settlement camp.
