“I have always enjoyed learning about the world and felt that I needed to be more informed about what is going around me. Coming from an underprivileged background, I understand what it feels like to not have as many opportunities.
I was interested in this position because I hoped to expand my worldview and knowledge on global refugee policy with this project. I also was interested as I wanted to expand my work experience. It intrigued me, as I understood that refugee policy needs to improve upon, with the awareness and coverage for those in need. I wanted to try do something more for those in need and I think that working for this project is one step in the right direction.”
