Carleton to Host Canada-India: The Road Ahead and Launch of the Canada-India Acceleration Program

Carleton’s Canada-India Centre for Excellence will host the event Canada-India: The Road Ahead, featuring expert panels of esteemed speakers, including Nadir Patel, the Canadian High Commissioner to India and Vikas Swarup, the Indian High Commissioner to Canada.

The event will also launch the first annual competition under the Canada-India Acceleration Program (CIAP). CIAP will support 90 women-led Canadian technology companies to scale and enter the Indian market. A story describing Carleton’s leading role in the CIAP is available here.

When: Monday, June 4, 2018, from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., opening remarks begin at 9:30 a.m.

Canada-India: the Road Ahead will welcome a delegation of more than 50 Indian businesses to Ottawa and will focus on increasing awareness of investment opportunities in Canada and India.

The one-day event will feature expert panels to discuss the future of the Canada-India relationship, investing effectively in Canada and India, investment opportunities in the Ottawa real-estate industry, and international education opportunities and collaborations.
