Carleton University Art Gallery Among Winners at Annual OAAG Awards Gala
The Carleton University Art Gallery (CUAG) received two honours at the 2018 Ontario Association of Art Galleries (OAAG) Awards. Twenty-three awards were handed out to the best of the year’s exhibitions, programs, publications, designs and personnel.
“CUAG is honoured to be the recipient of two awards from OAAG,” said Sandra Dyck, CUAG director. “These annual, juried awards recognize excellence in professional practice in Ontario’s dynamic visual arts sector. Please join CUAG in congratulating and celebrating all the award recipients from across Ontario.”
CUAG received:
- Exhibition of the Year Award (Budget under $20,000 – MONOGRAPHIC)
Annie Thibault: La chambre des cultures, foraging in time and space, Curated by Heather Anderson, CUAG. - Curatorial Writing Award (Major Text Over 5,000 Words)
Sandra Dyck, CUAG, for her essay, Standard Deviations, published in the CUAG catalogue Dorset Seen (2017).
