As the director of the Science of Imagination Laboratory, Davies explores computational modeling and artificial intelligence applied to human visual imagination. His work has shown how people use visual thinking to solve problems and how they visualize imagined situations and worlds. He is a frequent contributor to Nautilus magazine and is author of Riveted: The Science of How Jokes Make Us Laugh, Movies Make Us Cry, and Religion Makes Us Feel One with the Universe.

Davies is available to discuss the psychology of why we like sports.

Kovalio is an expert on Asia-Pacific history. He is the former president of the Japan Studies Association of Canada and the president of Japan Pacific World Consulting. He has researched and published extensively on Asia-Pacific international relations, strategic studies and history issues.

Kovalio is available to discuss the political, strategic and international aspects of the 2018 Olympics, especially with regard to North Korea.

Kennelly’s broad research interests include the areas of youth cultures; citizenship; democracy; social inclusion and exclusion; globalization/neoliberalism; social movements; urban sociology; and education. Kennelly has researched the impact of Olympic games, including those in Vancouver and London, on low-income communities. She is the author of the book Olympic Exclusions: Youth, Poverty, and Social Legacies.

Kennelly is available to discuss the impact of Olympics games on low-income youth.
