Graduate Students in Top 75 of Science, Action! Video Contest
Two Carleton University graduate students are competing in the Natural Sciences and Engineering Research Council of Canada (NSERC) Science, Action! video contest.
Andrea Reid, who is pursuing her PhD in Biology, and Brandon Robinson, who is pursuing his Master of Applied Science, are among the top 75 contestants in this year’s competition.
The students each submitted a 60-second video and a 100-word summary to NSERC, explaining their research in an informative, creative and easy-to-understand way.
After making it into the top 75, the Carleton students’ videos have been shared on the NSERCTube YouTube channel. The 25 videos with the most views on March 2 will proceed to the judges’ panel, where they will compete for one of 15 cash prizes.
Support these exceptional students by viewing and sharing their videos, and learn about the great research conducted at Carleton. Voting remains open until Friday, March 2.
All entered videos can be found on NSERC’s Science’ Action! website.
