Carleton to Launch New Diploma Program at Work and Labour Conference
Carleton University’s Institute of Political Economy will host the conference The Changing Worlds of Work and Labour.
The event will bring together stakeholders from campus and labour organizations to explore emerging work and labour issues. In addition to a series of engaging presentations and conversations, the conference will launch the new Graduate Diploma in Work and Labour.
When: Friday, Nov. 8, 2019, from 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
Where: Woodside Hall, Carleton Dominion-Chalmers Centre, 355 Cooper St., Ottawa

A variety of topics will be discussed over the course of the day-long program, including emerging issues and challenges in the world of work and labour, such as climate change, Indigenous justice, education and gender; experiential learning; and the future of labour from a Canadian perspective.
