Carleton's Home Page is Getting a New Look
We are pleased to announce that the Carleton University home page has been refreshed and it’s almost ready for a big reveal.
With more than 100,000 visitors each month, carleton.ca is a critical tool for recruiting top students, faculty and staff members, as well as enhancing the university’s reputation and developing community partnerships of all kinds.
We want to increase the number of people who visit the page and boost their experience as they explore our amazing people, superb teaching and innovative research.
We think you’ll find this update hits a lot of the right notes. Like the current home page, it complies with the Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act, is mobile friendly, reliable and fast.
It’s also lighter and brighter, provides easier navigation to top information and offers plenty of space for photos, videos and new storytelling content. We relied heavily on data and analytics to improve the site.
In short, it is a compelling page based on user preferences and best design practices that will serve us well as we continue reflecting Carleton to the world.
Want a sneak peek? Come to our event on Thursday, May 16, 2019 from 1 p.m. to 2 p.m. in the Health Sciences Building, Room 1301. Click here for details.
Starting May 21, you’ll find a link to the new template from the current home page for several weeks before we make the official switch in mid-June. More information will be shared via Carleton’s Top 5.
We hope to see you on May 16.
