Victoria Day Weekend 2019 – What’s Open and Closed at Carleton University
Carleton University is officially closed on Monday, May 20, 2019 and reopens Tuesday, May 21. Some facilities continue to operate throughout the May long weekend. Please note reduced hours or closures as listed below.
Athletics
Friday, May 17:
- Fitness Centre: Regular hours of operation – Open 6 a.m. to 10 p.m.
- Pool: The 8:10 p.m. to 9:25 p.m. public swim is CANCELLED
Saturday, May 18:
- Fitness Centre: Regular hours of operation – Open 8 a.m. to 8 p.m.
- Pool: Public Swim available from 1:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m.
Sunday, May 19:
- Fitness Centre: Regular hours of operation – Open 8 a.m. to 8 p.m.
- Pool: Women’s Only Swim from 11:30 a.m. to 1:15 p.m.; Public Swim from 1:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m.
Monday, May 20:
- Fitness Centre: Holiday hours of operation – Open 8 a.m. to 8 p.m.
- Pool: Holiday Public Swim Only from 1:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. * All other swims CANCELLED
- Fitness Classes CANCELLED

Saturday, May 18: Open 12 p.m. to 6 p.m.
Sunday, May 19: Open 12 p.m. to 6 p.m.
Monday, May 20: CLOSED
The Caf in Residence Commons hours of operation:
Saturday, May 18, Sunday May 19 and Monday, May 20
Breakfast: 6:30 a.m. to 9 a.m.
Lunch: 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Dinner: 4:30 p.m. to 7 p.m.
