We are pleased to announce that the next edition of the Ottawa-Carleton Student Northern Research Symposium (OCSNRS) will be held on March 20, 2020, at the University of Ottawa.
The OCSNRS is an annual one-day conference that brings together students from the University of Ottawa and Carleton University who are involved in northern research. It provides an opportunity for students to present their research, network, and to broaden their knowledge of the north. Students from any discipline are welcome, given that their research takes place to the north of the southern limit of discontinuous permafrost (http://arcg.is/1vGHyr). Presentations may range from project proposals to completed research projects.
We will be sending out a call for abstracts in mid-January 2020.
Please note that the members of the organizing committee are bilingual, but the conference will be primarily held in English.
