Changes to the Equipment Inventory policy were recently approved by Senior Management. The updated policy now includes disposal procedures for non-fixed assets that align with our commitment to sustainability. Disposal options include, a) transfer or donation, b) safe and sustainable disposal and c) resale or giveaway through the surplus program.
What is the CUrb?
Last year, Procurement Services re-launched the surplus sales program with a new name and updated procedures. The CUrb (Carleton University Reuse Base) features just-in-time sales and purchases of used items without bidding requirements or waiting periods.
