Expectations as a QES Scholar during the Mobility Period
As the name suggests, “Wurinta na yin rubutu” I expect that QES will offer me a serene, convenient and conducive working space as well as grant me access to robust libraries with recent and relevant literature in my field. These will undoubtedly enhance my research by granting me wurin rubutu (the room/space to write). I hope to leverage on the mentorship and placement components of this scholarship to improve on my technical and soft skills as a researcher, teacher and mentor.
Through colloquia and seminars, I hope to discuss my research project with a view to eliciting critical feedback that will better shape the outcome of my work. During this period, I hope to make new friends and expand my network which may open vistas for collaboration on future projects.

The QES Project and Advancement of your Career
The fellowship will also offer me the opportunity to set aside (for a while), regular academic duties in my home University, so that I can focus more on my research work. This reduction of distraction ensures that I come up with a rich and comprehensive manuscript that will be beneficial for my career and the present and future students I teach.
