Incoming African scholars must meet the following criteria:

  • Be proficient in English
  • Be a citizen of one of the listed countries

During your award period, you should be willing to:

  • Participate in community engagement activities in Canada
  • Conduct research on a full time basis at Carleton University, or at one of the 3 SSA Institutions, of which no less than 30% of award time must involve research at the research placement partner (off campus)
