November 19th, 2018 – Accessibility and Mental Health Disabilities, Carleton University, Ottawa
14:00 – 16:00
Facilitated by: Boris Vukovic, Director of the Research, Education, Accessibility, and Design (READ) Initiative
What does accessibility mean for mental health disabilities? While we have a substantial body of knowledge related to accessibility for physical and sensory disabilities, no such foundation exists when accessibility is considered from the perspective of non-visible disabilities, in particular mental health disabilities. This interactive workshop will explore the above question and engage the participants in a discussion on (re)conceptualizing accessibility in this context.
