Finagnon Antoine Dedewanou recently started as a postdoctoral research fellow working with Associate Professor Mehdi Ammi. His postdoctoral research will focus on understanding Canadian policymakers’ preferences for future changes in public health systems, primarily using discrete choice experiments. Antoine’s research interests are in applied econometrics, applied microeconomics and economics of networks. Before joining the School of Public Policy and Administration, he worked at the United Nations Development Programme as an Economist. Antoine completed his PhD in Economics at the Université Laval (Quebec City). He studied Statistics in Africa at ENSEA-Abidjan (Cote d’Ivoire) and ENEAM-Cotonou (Benin). During his thesis, he was supported by several grants including the “Fonds de Recherche du Québec Société et Culture,” Industrial Alliance Research on Economic of Demographic Change, Econometric Society and African Economic Research Consortium.
