new Lester M. Salamon Memorial Award for Promising PhD Proposal in Nonprofit and Voluntary Action Research for his PhD proposal: To What Extent is the Canadian Charitable Sector a Politically Expressive Sector?   Congratulations Christopher!

This award, endowed in memory of pioneer researcher Lester Salamon, is given annually for a Ph.D. dissertation proposal successfully defended during the calendar year preceding the award. Proposals that are deemed likely to advance the study of the philanthropic and nonprofit sector in innovative ways that promise to have a theoretical and practical impact on the field are eligible.
