We are pleased to announce the launch of the The Christopher Stoney Student Experience Fund.
On the 80th Anniversary of the School of Public Policy and Administration, friends and colleagues of Chris Stoney created the fund in his honour to recognize his enthusiast, joyful and steadfast dedication to our SPPA students.
Chris Stoney joined SPPA in 2003 and was an esteemed faculty member to his untimely death December 2021. A celebrated and gifted teacher, he was also recognized for his tireless contributions to student learning outside of the classroom. He embraced and exemplified SPPA’s commitment to providing experiential learning opportunities for our students – these opportunities apply the theory covered in our courses to the practice of policy analysis and public administration, developing lifelong learning skills.
The Christopher Stoney Student Experience Fund celebrates Chris’ tremendous impact, and allows SPPA faculty and instructors to continue to honour his legacy by enabling them to provide more, high-quality experiential learning opportunities for generations of policy students to come.
