The rental e-scooter program, in partnership with Bird Canada, has ended for the 2022 season. The program was intended to test the viability of the e-scooters as a means for traveling to and from our campus and to help reduce single rider automobile use. This program is part of a wider set of initiatives to encourage healthy lifestyles by providing sustainable transportation options to access our campus.
The City of Ottawa is seeking public feedback on the Shared Electric Kick Scooter Pilot, which is in its third season within Ottawa. The City of Ottawa wants to hear about your experiences, whether you have used the shared e-scooters or not. The survey deadline is Sunday, November 20, 2022 and can be found here.
Sustainability Carleton also welcomes any direct feedback from our campus community with respect to the on-campus program by emailing, sustainability@carleton.ca with your comments or views. All feedback will help inform program decisions for the 2023 season.
