You can help Carleton to continue improving its waste diversion rate and reduce the amount of waste sent to landfill by properly sorting your waste, recycling and composting, and reducing single-use items.

Here are some tips to help you get started:

  1. Use reusable mugs and claim discounts at all outlets on campus
  2. Make sure to sort all waste and recycling into the correct container, reducing waste contamination.
  3. If old binders cannot be reused, they can still be recycled by disassembling them and sorting the pieces into the appropriate recycling bins.
