Cancelled: 2025 Polar Bear Dip

Please note that the 2025 Polar Bear Dip has been cancelled. We look forward to seeing you, next year!

Every year, Carleton staff brave the cold by jumping in Mooney’s Bay for the annual Polar Bear Dip (PBD) in support of Carleton’s United Way campaign. While the event has been cancelled for 2025, we encourage individuals to continue showing their support to United Way by donating via ePledge or Payroll Deduction.

Registration

Registration has closed, as the event has been cancelled. 

Waiver 

A completed waiver is required to participate in the event. Please bring a completed waiver with you to the event, with a wet signature. Electronic copies will not be accepted. 

If someone under the age of 18 wishes to participate, an Informed Consent Waiver must be completed and returned to the event organizers.

As always, we extend our sincere gratitude to Stephanie Smith (Senior Manager, Workplace Philanthropy) and colleagues with United Way East Ontario who have provided great support to Carleton’s United Way campaign over many years. We look forward “jumping in” to support the Ottawa and surrounding communities, once again!
