The 22-storey tower houses various schools, institutes, departments, and research centres. The Dunton Tower honours the memory of Carleton’s longest serving president A. Davidson Dunton, who led the university from 1958 to 1972. During his long and distinguished career chaired the CBC and co-chaired the Royal Commission on Bilingualism and Biculturalism.
