The Forensic Psychology Research Centre (FPRC) is located at Carleton University in Ottawa, Ontario, Canada. Our aim is to serve as a central hub for advancing and promoting forensic psychology research and practice.

The research themes covered include:

Police and Legal Psychology

Correctional Psychology

  • Risk factors for the onset and maintenance of offending

The FPRC has the following goals:

Progress theoretical and applied research by providing connections, expertise, and funding

 

 

Mobilize the knowledge generated by members to impact everyday Canadians through connections with industry and knowledge translation activities

 

Develop and support the next generations of researchers, practitioners, and policy makers.
