3ci welcomes our most recent Research Associate appointment! Fahad Ahmad is a doctoral candidate at the School of Public Policy and Administration who has worked on the Modern Treaty Implementation Research Project, with Fiscal Theme lead, Dr. Frances Abele. Fahad’s doctoral dissertation examines the securitization of Muslim civil society organizations under national security regimes. Fahad’s research interests include the study of security and insecurity, nonprofits and philanthropy, inequality and racism, and citizenship and immigration. Most recently, Fahad has taught at Carleton University in the Masters of Philanthropy and Nonprofit Leadership program and at the Institute of Criminology and Criminal Justice.
