The Boyd group at the University of Ottawa works on nanoscience and photonics, to employ this in optoelectronic and other applications. Our collaboration involves trying to tune lamellar stacks of oxides to have specific optical properties. ALD is an enabling technology for these applications due to its extreme control over thickness and interfaces.
