Dr. Sanne “O3*” Deijkers (she/her) completed her MSc and her PhD at the University of Technology Eindhoven in the Department of Applied Physics and Science Education.
In both her MSc and PhD work, she worked on atomic layer deposition (ALD) of thin films. For her PhD work, Sanne focused on processing transition metal chalcogenides for nanoelectronic applications. She used plasma-based processes to deposit and etch different materials at the nanoscale.
As a postdoctoral research associate at the Barry Lab, she is working with Maram on molecular layer deposition (MLD) of metal and covalent organic frameworks (MOFs and COFs). Moreover, Sanne is working on the growth of low k dielectrics using thermal ALD.
She is the data manager for the Barry Lab.
