Erica “Lt. Dan” Dionisi (PhD candidate, she/her) is in Chuck MacDonald’s group where she is studying a highly stable phosphorus-containing cyanine dye and its (lack of) reactivity. She aims to use this unusually stable dye framework to create mixed ligand ‘heteroleptic’ family members and study their properties.
She is under the aegis of the Barry Lab so she can finish her degree here.
