Dr. Onita Basu is a Professor of Environmental Engineering in the Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering at Carleton University. She currently serves as Associate Vice-Provost (Graduate Studies). Previously, Dr. Basu held roles including Associate Dean (Planning & Awards) in the Faculty of Graduate & Postdoctoral Affairs (2021 – 2024), Director of Professional Development in the Faculty of Engineering (2023 – 2024), and Associate Chair for Graduate Students in the Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering (2016 – 2019).
