Biofiltration & Slow Sand Filtration

Degrees:M.A.Sc.
Email:celia.charron@carleton.ca

Project Description:

My project involves work with a mobile water treatment trailer that operates both biofiltration and slow sand filtration treatment streams. The research involves determining its viability as a potable water treatment solution for both rural and northern communities in Canada. The project included a three month field work position in Rouyn-Noranda, where the trailer was used for potable water treatment at a mining site.
