Project Title:
Impact of water chemistry on lead dissolution in drinking water distribution systems
Project Description:
The project is part of a collaborative project between Carleton University and Western University. The objective of this project is to investigate the effect of water quality parameters such as pH, Temperature and Carbonate on dissolution of Hydrocerussite and Cerussite as two lead species seen widely in distribution systems.
Highlights:
- Conference Poster (WatIf, 2014)
- CWN Workshop, Integrative Traditional and Western Water Knowledge (Aug, 2014)
- Waterlution Workshop, Transformative Leaders of the Future ( Oct 2014- April 2015)
