Project Title:
Comparative Study of Wastewater Disinfection By-product Formation during Wastewater Disinfection by Peracetic Acid versus Sodium Hypochlorite.
Project Description:
My project investigated peracetic acid (PAA) and chlorine disinfection efficacy on micro-constituent (Endocrine Disrupting Chemicals (EDCs), pharmaceuticals) removal and disinfection by-products (DBPs) formation. Gas chromatography and mass spectrometry (GC/MS) was used for micro-constituent and DBPs analysis.
