The University of Toronto Press has just released a new edition of Alison Prentice’s landmark social history of public education in Ontario, co-edited by Drs. Jennifer Henderson, Bruce Curtis and Mythili Rajiva. This new edition revisits the 1977 classic by putting Prentice’s original analysis of the project of class domination within the context of settler colonialism and residential schools.
