CDNS 2210 Introduction to the Study of Canadian Culture
CDNS 2210 Introduction to the Study of Canadian Culture – on campus
Instructor: Jennifer Henderson
Course Description: Culture is the terrain in which the making and re-making of Canada and its possible meanings takes place. Culture shapes our everyday experiences and practices, our individual and collective memories, our sense of who and where we are. Most importantly, it is the site of important struggles over the power to define identity, order space, and limit belonging. In this course we deconstruct some of the dominant narratives and metaphors of Canada.
