History, Memory & Performance Conference
History, Memory, Performance was a conference jointly organized by the University of Ottawa’s Department of Theatre and the Centre for Public History in April 2012. It brought together over a hundred scholars, students and practitioners engaged in the disciplines of public history, theatre studies and related fields.
Migration / Representation / Stereotypes Conference
Studies in Migration – Études sur la migration, held in 2017, was an interdisciplinary conference structured around the topic of stereotypes in the age of global migration. It was organized by the “Interdisciplinary Research Group / Groupe de recherche interdisciplinaire”, a partnership involving the Department of Theatre, University of Ottawa and Carleton’s Migration & Diaspora Studies.
