Meghan is a PhD student in the Department of History at Carleton University. Meghan completed the MA in Public History program in 2013, and holds a BA (Hons.) in history from Mount Allison University. Most recently, Meghan completed a research assistant-ship with the Carleton Centre for Public History (2012-13) and has completed contracts with the Heritage Lighthouse Program (2013) and Cultural Sciences Branch (2012) at Parks Canada. |
Research |
Meghan’s MA research examined the presence of Holocaust denial through social media outlets and explored the ways in which Holocaust denial impacts a historical understanding of the Holocaust in a twenty-first century virtual environment. She is currently interested in the intersection between Holocaust museums, social media policy, and photography. |
