Bio Meghan is a  PhD student in the Department of History at Carleton University. Meghan completed the MA in Public History program in 2013, and holds a BA (Hons.) in history from Mount Allison University. Most recently, Meghan completed a research assistant-ship with the Carleton Centre for Public History (2012-13) and has completed contracts with the Heritage Lighthouse Program (2013) and Cultural Sciences Branch (2012) at Parks Canada.
Research Meghan’s MA research examined the presence of Holocaust denial through social media outlets and explored the ways in which Holocaust denial impacts a historical understanding of the Holocaust in a twenty-first century virtual environment. She is currently interested in the intersection between Holocaust museums, social media policy, and photography.
